Windows 10: How do you fix Windows or Task Manager not showing the CPU's true amount of cores.

How do you fix Task Manager showing 2 cores when my CPU has 4 cores?I tried changing it in msconfig but it didn't fix it, so if you know how to fix this then tell me. You're welcome.Here is a screenshot:https://imgur.com/a/FsqwqEN

Wrong CPU cores display in Task Manager

Hi All,

Hope you guys are doing good. there is a strange problem with my windows 10, that i can not see correct core information and i assume therefore my Windows is running slow.

My Device manager shows total 16 cores in CPU section, however in Task manager i only see 4 vCPUs.

I tried almost every solution but still no luck.

- I Tried msconfig and increase the CPU Cores but it didn't help even after restart.

- I updated Windows , still no luck.

Any help will be highly appreciated.

Task Manager shows only 2 cores

Hello!

I saw that in Task Manager it shows me that my CPU has got only 2 cores but it's quad core. I am just curious to see why this is happening. I don't have any problems for now. My CPU is an AMD FX 4100.
