Windows 10: How do you get access to a Windows 10 laptop if you have lost the password? Lenovo ideapad

I am trying to help a client with troubleshooting and accessing a laptop she has from her deceased father. She doesn't have access to the email address for his Microsoft account. She has a notebook from him with some passwords and a PIN, but the passwords and PIN didn't work for logging into the computer user. I believe there is only one user account on this laptop. Since she doesn't have a way to reset the password via email, and she already tried the identity verification process online to gain access to an account which was rejected - how can she use the laptop? I'll add that it's a Lenovo

Lenovo Launches its First Android Laptop, the IdeaPad A10

Multimode computing leader Lenovo, today announced the Lenovo A10, an affordable, ultra-portable, dual-mode laptop and the company's first to run on Android 4.2 OS. Weighing less than 1kg and measuring just 17.3mm at its thickest point, the Lenovo A10 is an ideal companion for users on the go, providing easy access to a wide range of apps on a unique, dual-mode platform, which enhances the user experience for entertainment and Web browsing as well as productivity.

Lockscreen password change on Lenovo 110 Ideapad laptop

I just bought the Lenovo ideapad laptop, and during setup the lock page that comes on when you open the laptop used my Microsoft email acct and password. My previous Lenovo was set up by a friend I no longer have access to. I need to know how to change
my lock screen password ONLY, while NOT changing my microsoft password. More than one person uses the computer, so I don't want my email password as the lock page password. So simply put, I want a password to unlock the laptop to other user I approve, but
NOT my email password. Thanks
