    How do you get rid of Msfconnecttest redirect error?


    I went into Starbucks and tried to connect to their wifi but it kept coming up with Msfconnecttest error page. I would like to go to coffee shops or other places and use my laptop but I am unable too which is frustrating.


    I have already tried the following:

    • Resetting the Internet explorer settings
    • Resetting the network
    • Edited the registry



    The above did not resolve the issue. I don't understand why I can't simple use wifi which ask for a login.


    Please help as I am restricted to only using wifi at home.

    Redirect Error

    I have completed all steps recommended and still have the redirect error, the web page doesn't load. It does not redirect to another site.

    I have tried everything, including suggestions from the forum. Avast, Spybot, Adblock, and countless other programs and remedies, including uninstalling programs that were directly dumping redirects onto my laptop have failed to get rid of this plague. Where are the redirects located? How do I get rid of them? Please help me with this problem!
