Windows 10: how do you install the Microsoft.VCLibs.110.00 package

Windows 10 – 10240 Microsoft .Net Native Framework Package 1.0, Microsoft .Net Native Runtime Package 1.0, and VCLibs 12 installs 4 times every day

Is there a fix for Windows 10 – 10240: Microsoft .Net Native Framework Package 1.0, Microsoft .Net Native Runtime Package 1.0, and VCLibs 12 installing 4 times every day? It would be great if I finally were able to get v1511 that crashed a few times
when it tried to install.

 

What is VCLibs 12?


It could be because Visual C++ packages are corrupt.


I suggest you to un-install Visual C ++ packages from Programs and Features and re-install them. Also repair .Net framework.
Try the following steps:


• Press Windows + R Keys, Type Appwiz.cpl

• Look for Visual C ++ Redistributable packages and click on them and click Un-install.
• Download them from Microsoft website and install them and see if that helps.

.Net Native Framework Package 1.0 and VCLibs 12 updating numerous times daily

Hi,

Thanks for your reply, I have used the two trouble shooters you suggested, the update trouble shooter found and repaired something but this has not stopped these daily multiple updates. I am now getting three, VClibs 12, .Net Native Framework Package 1.0
and now .Net Native Runtime Package 1.0.

As far as I can tell this is not impacting my PC in any other negative way and none of these updates show up in installed updates.
