Just upgraded to windows 11 on 3/25/2025: How do you put in a request to get the entire Windows 11 taskbar moved to the Left Pane of the screen? This would satisfy many of us. I know you can select alignment left in settings but this only moves the search and the app's over to the left side. I want the entire taskbar to be moved to the left pane of the window like you could do in windows 10 and windows server 2022. In those versions you could move the taskbar to top, bottom, left and right. Please put that back for windows 11.

Windows: Realign the Start button back to the left

With Windows 11, the Start button is centered in the taskbar, which may throw you off if you’ve been using Windows for years. Moving it back to the left is easy:

• Press the Windows Key + I to open the Settings app.
  
• Choose Personalization and Taskbar.
  
• Select Taskbar behaviors, then click Left under Taskbar alignment.

Unfortunately, it isn't working as of June 26, 2022—at least on my computer. It does move the black bar to the left side, but it still tries to draw the icons from left to right (stopping at the right side of the now horizontally narrow bar). Right-clicking on the taskbar also doesn't do anything (i.e., show the popup menu with Taskbar Settings).

However, this might be the feature to watch in upcoming bug releases.
