    How do you reconnect HID - Compliant touch screen?


    For some reason my touch screen is not working. I've been searching all over the internet and apparently my HID - Compliant touch screen has been disabled. I've tried researching how to reconnect it, but I there were no results! I also tried restarting my computer, uninstall the compliant, and troubling shooting but still no results.


    When I access the properties of the compliant, it would say:


    Currently, this hardware device is not connected to the computer. (Code 45)

    To fix this problem, reconnect this hardware device to the computer.



    Please help if you know anything regarding this issue

    HID-Compliant touch screen

    HID-Compliant touch screen is not even listed under device manager anymore after doing an update. I have Toshiba Satellite, Windows 10.

    I have checked hidden folders, tried detecting for changes, updated drivers, everything. Still no touch screen. Please help?

    I have lost my touch screen on my laptop. In my device manager the HID Compliant touch screen is grayed out. How can I get this back?

    How do you reconnect HID - Compliant touch screen?

    HID-Compliant touch screen

    I now see the HID-Compliant touch screen option. But it is greyed out, and when I right click to update the driver it says that I already have the latest driver. But, then I also get the error:

    Currently, this hardware device is not connected to the computer. (Code 45)

    To fix this problem, reconnect this hardware device to the computer.

    It also doesn't give me the option to restore to a previous date.
