Windows 10: How do you remove blurred image around the clear narrow photos in Photo App slideshow...

Hi,I’m putting together a folder of family history photos and want to use Windows 11 Photo App’s slideshow to display them. I have 2 questions. 1 I have scanned them and sometimes cropped / added a text box which is good, but I prefer if the areas beside narrow images were black or something else instead of a blurred image of the photo. They distract and take away the focus of the viewer.” Is there a way to turn off the blurred space fillers in slides where this happens?2 Also, how can I make the time between slides a bit longer than the pre-set interval?To clarify - I have an

I understand the inconvenience that you are unable view the photos in slideshow as it repeats after few photos and need to know “How can I change this to show a continuous and non-repeating slideshow?”. We will help you to

  Did you try to change the folder location and check?
  

I suggest you to follow the below steps:

Step 1: If the photos folder is located on the desktop, try to create another folder and copy all the content to the newly created folder and add this folder for slideshow and check.



Step 2: Try to create new folder if different location and copy all the content to the newly created folder in different location and add this folder for slideshow and check.

How to view photos in a Slideshow in Windows 10?

SlideShow in Photos app does not display more that 30 photos

Thank you for your interest in Windows 10.

I suggest you to remove and re-add the photos folder from Photo app. Follow the steps below:

• 
  Open Photos App.
  
• 
  Click on Settings.
  
• 
  Under Sources click on the X mark next to the folder location listed to delete the location from Photos App.
  
• 
  Once done try to re-add the folder by clicking on Add a Folder.
  
• 
  Restart the computer and check if issue persists.
