Windows 10: How do you remove the watermark

I know this distro is only a few days old but has anyone figured out how to remove the watermark in the lower right corner of the desktop yet?

Windows 10 Education Watermark

The watermark is there by default even on fully licenced copies of the Education version of Windows 10.

Watermark is back

Same here. I guess this is the reward we get for being windows beta testers. I hate the watermark and I will be leaving the Windows Insider program as soon as another stable build shows up and I can get this stupid watermark removed.

 

Why do people always find the need to remove the watermark.

 

You're not supposed to.
Only legit way is to go to PC Settings►Ease of Access►Other options►Visual options►'Show Windows background' - turn off.

 

I have no idea lol. In the next update MS should check who removed the Watermark and move it to the middle of their screen in large black font, lol.

And to think that I always insisted on putting watermark on desktop !!!

Enterprise or non enterprise version. Also did you have to activate with the product key.

I've got the TECHNET version but I think it's identical.

non enterprise. I have no real requirement for the extras. Pre activated. On the MSDN subscription site, it states that.

Same on TechNet (identical) -- I'm about to do a NEW install as a HOST (not an upgrade and not a VM) so I'll see.

I went for the ENTERPRISE version because I rather like the Windows to Go - otherwise I would have just taken the "Normal" version. !!

Good luck - but I don't think you will need it!

I did think I had a bad download, as it took a lot longer to burn to a DVD than is normal. This was followed by a remarkably long install, maybe for the same reason. To the final desktop, discounting time for my input, took 32 minutes.

Around 90 minutes to install the X86 version and reach the desktop, due entirely to a buggy WiFi driver that W10 installs. I can't get to it to disable it and install the correct one until after its all finished and during that time its killing the CPU at 100% usage.. Twenty minutes on "getting your devices ready", and another twenty on "almost done" or whatever it calls it. Same for "installing apps".
