    How Do You Remove This Junk From the Right of the Start Menu?


    I just booted a brand new computer running Windows 11. I don't have too much experience with this OS. While trying to search for something else, I noticed all of this junk on the right-hand side of the Start Menu. The computer is for my grandmother, and she does not need or want to see all of this stuff. How do I disable this?

    Feature suggestion: Add right-click menu

    Suggestion: Please add a Windows 7 Jump-List and/or right-click menu to the GPU-Z icon in the Windows taskbar. Possible menus in it would be "Exit" and "About GPU-Z...".
    Maybe also "Switch to tab 1/Switch to tab 2/Switch to videocard 1/Switch to videocard 2" too.
    Examples of programs that have such menus are ICQ, Skype, AIM.

    NOTE: It seems for a right-click menu, Windows 7 is not needed - it works on WinXP and Vista too.
    But even a Windows 7 Jump-list may be good enough.
    What do you think?

    Which is the fastest way to remove junk from Start Menu?

    Hello,

    Everything works like a charm but...

    Why "Edit with Paint 3D" still appears if I right click on an image after a complete uninstall?
    And Why "People" still appears in the taskbar after a complete uninstall?

    How Do You Remove This Junk From the Right of the Start Menu?

    Start Button/Start Menu/All Programs

    To remove clutter I just right click > open file location, and delete any shortcuts I never want to see again. Links to the authors web site, other downloads, all that junk that gets added with those free utilities etc. It gets rid of a lot of the junk that ends up on the all apps screen. I used to do the same thing in the Start Menu, there's just and extra step to find the actual shortcut.
