    How do you resize a secondary monitor for lining up?


    I'm trying to set up my secondary monitor and Windows 11 seems to think that it is smaller than it is, making it impossible to properly line up the monitors. How do you change the size of the monitor NOT THE SCALE OF THE SCREEN.

    Hi Dreed,

    Thank you for your response.

    In this case, we would suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below and check.

    1. Launch Skype.
    2. Drag the Skype Window to secondary monitor.
    3. Resize the window as per your preference.
    4. Maximize the Window and Restore Down.
    5. Then close the skype window in secondary monitor.
    6. Then try re-launching and check if the issue resolves.

    Toolbar on secondary monitor

    Hi Greg Carmack.

    Unfortunately, none of the programs mentioned on the website provided The 5 Best Dual-Monitor Management Apps for Windows 10 have the option to add any toolbars to a second taskbar on a secondary monitor to what I have been able to test. (Please correct me if that is not true)

    Moving the taskbar to a secondary monitor is unfortunately also not an option. I have tried doing it for a while and it just does not work for what I need.

    I am open to any other suggestions that you have.

    Setting Up A Older Secondary Monitor

    ok decided to reopen in the hopes someone might have a solution for a new issues i noticed. when i do a restart the secondary monitor takes over, and not until windows is about to go to the desktop does the secondary monitor turn off and the primary display turn on. i would think there is some way to make the default monitor stay on during a reboot. any suggestion would be great. thanks
