Windows 10: How do you set up Paint 3D to open when you right click on a photo and select "open with"?

I used to be able to open my photos app and right click -> "open with" -> and select "Paint 3D". Now Paint 3D is not showing up when I click "open with". How do I set up paint 3D to show up under "open with". I realize I could go into Paint 3D and open the photo there, but this is an extra step when I am already in my photos app.Thanks ahead of time :

Thank you for your reply .

1. I tried your suggestions and unfortunately the problem still persists , I already tried right clicking on the JPG going to properties and clicking on open with but Paint 3d does not appear in the dropdown .

2. I tried Win + I to go into settings but when I went to choose default apps by file type once again Paint 3d did not appear .

3. I tried Win + R but could not see JPG in set associations .

4 .My updates were all up to date I already tried uninstalling and reinstalling Paint 3d , tried it again and the problem still persists , when I go into the folder with the JPGs in all the icons now have the Paint not Paint 3d logo on them .

5 . Tried the trouble-shooter but could not find Windows Store Apps .
