    How do you transfer Xbox Game Bar captures to another device?


    I got a new Windows 11 computer and despite still logging into my Xbox account, my captures from my other computer Windows 10 are not showing up. I tried installing the games I took captures with, but I still have no captures. How would I possibly transfer Xbox Game Bar captures from my Windows 10 computer to my new Windows 11 computer? My Game Bar captures are additionally in a file in my computer. Would transferring by file help?

    I hope you're doing well today.

    I truly understand that you are having an issue with Xbox game bar that is not showing any captures , let's work on this together for us to fix the issue.



    Kindly follow the steps below that could possibly fix the issue.

    Fix 1 : Enable game bar in settings

    • Go to Settings
    • Then click Gaming icon to continue.
    • go to the Game Bar panel, make sure the option Record game clips, screenshots, and broadcast using Gaming bar is on.

    Unable to "move" Captures folder for Xbox Bar Captures

    Thanks for the reply!

    I am unable to follow those steps. As I mentioned, there is no "Captures" folder. It points directly to the temp folder, and there is no Captures folder for me to edit. When I go into the properties on the temp folder, I have no "location" tab, so nothing can be changed.

    Unable to "move" Captures folder for Xbox Bar Captures

    If you don't have one- create one.

    I suggest you create a captures folder in Videos, and use the dialogue to point to it.
