Windows 10: How do you turn off the sound for the failed Ctrl+F search function in MS Excel?

I've been trying to turn off a really irritating sound in MS Excel and from what I can gather, it's a Windows system sound sound within Excel is off. I've searched and searched but there are so many different suggestions and nothing explains it properly. I finally found where all the system sounds are but couldn't make sense of them all. Please can someone help?


I don't want to turn off all sounds, just the one that keeps playing every time I search for something on my spreadsheet. It's driving me crazy. If anybody is able to provide step by step instructions, that would be brilliant. I'm on Windows 10, it's up to date. Office is 365. Thank you all!

Search (CTRL-F) function in Edge

Hello,

I opened PDF file in Edge.

It is good for me because I don't need to install Acrobat program

but I have a question.

my question is when I open PDF file in Edge, can I use search (ctrl-f) function to go to the certain page after entering the certain page number?

search funtion (ctrl+f)

prerequisite: in all web browsers and most programs pressing ctrl+f is a shortcut for a basic text search within that page and/or program.

My Inquiry: is there a way to do the same type of text search in windows that covers all open programs/windows?

Further elaboration: is there a way to perform the same function as the [ctrl+f] "find in page" feature from microsoft edge. But from the windows desktop so it searches across all text of all open windows/programs.
