Windows 10: how do you turn on tamper protection if its been disabled by a administrator

I have been going through some of my security settings and I noticed my tamper protection is off and its saying that this setting is managed by your administrator, even tho I'm the only administrator of my own computer?

I can see here that you cannot turn off the tamper protection. Please follow the steps below:

1. Please click start menu and type Access Work or School and hit enter. Check if there's an account connected, please try to disconnect it and check if you will be able to turn off the tamper protection.

Tamper protection managed by administrator - greyed

My concern is that tamper protection should be switchable on off within Defender and not be marked as managed by an administrator and greyed. I am not asking how to reverse the changes I have made to the one PC where i changed the registry value.

There are times when i wish to disable Defender Realtime protection which is not possible with tamper protection turned on.

As I don't sign into of my machines I cannot imagine the setting is synced at all.
