Windows 10: How do you use the Microsoft Sculpt Keyboard 1559? No Power Button? No indicator light?...

I got a Sculpt 1559 Keyboard and have put three sets of brand new batteries in it. There is no way to know it is on or working. My PC with Windows 10 and laptop with Windows 11 is not detecting it. You can't setup the driver app if it doesn't detect it. This thing doesn't have a manual and the Quick Start Guide doesn't show how to pair. What kind of design work is this? You can't do any diagnostics because you can't even tell if it turns on.Am I missing something? My bluetooth works fine as I have a devices already connected. Windows is up to date. MS Sculpt Keyboard - no caps lock indicator light? Wha?

I just bought an MS Sculpt wireless keyboard/mouse combination.

The user really likes the feel of the keyboard.

But there's no indicator light to show whether caps lock is on or off.

What the frack? This is a $100 keyboard, and there's no caps-lock indicator light?

Is there some MS software I could download to provide that functionality?

I don't think she's going to want to open up the OSK every time she wants to enter a password in order to make sure that CAPS isn't on!

 

Sculpt Ergonomic keyboard driver for mac pro

Hi,

I have lost the USB connector required to pair the Microsoft Sculpt Ergonomic keyboard (model: 1559). Would you kindly suggest the appropriate keyboard keys to scan/pair with the Mac Pro bluetooth connection and also provide the necessary drivers for download?
