Windows 10: How does my son get a Windows 10 education key in Australia if his school doesn't have an...

I told him to instal Windows Education on a home build computer thinking he could get a key from his school. But the school admins just shrugged their shoulders and said they didn't know how to help him. They use Windows Home on all their school computers. He'd be happy to pay for the Windows Home OEM version but doesn't want to reinstall all the stuff he's accumulated over the last two years. He'd also be happy to pay for Windows Education if that is even possible.Any advice would be appreciated.

I download windows 10 Education N (polish) and I successfully installed it but the product key doesn`t work (0xc004f050)

what should I do with it?

 

Windows doesn`t start. Authomatic repair doesn`t work.

I`m sorry I had not noticed that the text on the picture was in spanish. It says that windows has replaced some damaged clusters in "name" file and "directory". Then, at the end "an unspecified error occurred (75736e6a726e6c2e 4f6)".

I`ll do it and I`ll be updating this thread when I have the report.

Change from Windows 10 Education edition to Windows 10 Professional

Windows 10 Education is an academic edition of Windows 10 used in schools. Features like Cortana are removed because of the environment it is used in.

Windows 10 Pro Education builds on the commercial version of Windows 10 Pro and provides important management controls needed in schools. Windows 10 Pro Education is effectively a variant of Windows 10 Pro that provides education-specific default settings,
including the removal of Cortana1. These default settings disable tips, tricks and suggestions & Windows Store suggestions.

If you want to downgrade to the Windows 10 Pro edition, you will need to perform a clean install and you will need a unique product key to install it. The Windows 10 Pro Edu or Windows 10 Education key will not activate Windows 10 Pro.

If you don't have a license for Windows 10 Pro, you will either need to request it from the institution you got Windows 10 Education; or you will have to purchase a license for Pro, then perform a clean install.
