How does one *stop* Windows or Microsoft from saving my photos in "Libraries"/. I never gave permission for that but I saw they were doing it and tried deleting a folder from the gfriggin Libvrary. I ended up deleting my photos from where I store them on my computer because it is ,my cpomp[uter and not wondows's or microsofts/.

If I go into the Library, to Managining the Library, how do I get those phtotos out of there? Everty time I trun around Microsotf is invading my privacy - again Can they not ask. They couls say, Do you mind fif we make all your photos easier for anyone to find, simply by going to the place called Library ,. Never mind the spelling. Maybe Microsoft could do something useful and fix it - without asking.

I need to stop them from doing that, and I need to make it not bhappen again. I already know how to copy photos from my camera without going trhough that pictures program they used to have. Now they have this? What is the matter with these people that they have to control everything!!@!!

    :)

  2. windows photo stopped working

Thank you for the feedback. If you've already updated the Photos app and still unable to view or open your photos, then I suggest running the Windows Store apps troubleshooter. Follow these steps:

    1. Open Settings.
    2. Go to Update & Security > Troubleshoot.
    3. Under Find and fix other problems, select Windows Store Apps, then click
      Run the troubleshooter.
    4. Follow the on-screen instructions.
    5. Once done, restart your computer.

By the way, can you recall any changes made on your File Explorer Libraries? Basically, Windows 10 Photos app is connected to the libraries in you File Explorer. Since the app won't show any photos, then this could imply a problem with the libraries. To
isolate this, you may restore the libraries to default. Here's how:

    1. Press the Windows key + e to open File Explorer.
    2. Click the View tab.
    3. On the left, click Navigation page and tick or select
      Show libraries
      .
    4. In the left pane, look for Libraries. Right-click it and then click
      Restore default libraries.

Once done, open the Photos app and check if you're now able to see your photos.

Please update this thread with the result so I can assist you further if needed.

    Regards.
