How I speeded up my Win 10

I've been getting very frustrated with how long it took for my Win 10 PC (i5 with 32GB RAM) to boot up and generally respond. I'd unloaded all the usual start-up culprits and few unnecessary apps but no difference. Acronis kept throwing up an error about not being active, so I was thinking about some kind of re-install of Win 10.
As Acronis seemed to be playing up, I uninstalled it first. After uninstalling, I could not believe how fast the system re-booted. I re-booted again to make sure I wasn't mistaken, but no, the system re-booted as expected.
So Acronis has been binned and I'm now using AOMEI backupper.

    So far so good.

(Maybe this should also be lnked to the Backup sub-forum.)

    Cheers, John

    :)

Overclocking / Undervolting guide for Vega 56 or 64?

    Here's a quick laundry list:

List of software to use for overclocking and testing
    Examples:
Wattman (and how to find and use it, like an overview, including profiles)
Unigine Valley or Heaven (use this for quick testing while changing settings in Wattman and checking for stability / artifacts) ...just suggesting this
How to monitor cores / mem speeds and temps during testing (I've seen screen overlays, and others using GPUz)

    Step-by step overclocking in Wattman
    Fan speeds
    Power limit
    Temp limit
    Voltages
    Core speeds
    Memory speeds

Win 10 (and 8) resposnible slow DL speeds as per Cox Cable

Cox just told me my DL speed issues are totally due to Win 10 (and 8) compatibility issues as my husband's Win 7 PC hardwired can get over the recommended speed while I am

getting a fraction wireless or hardwired. Suggestions?
