    How I speeded up my Win 10


    I've been getting very frustrated with how long it took for my Win 10 PC (i5 with 32GB RAM) to boot up and generally respond. I'd unloaded all the usual start-up culprits and few unnecessary apps but no difference. Acronis kept throwing up an error about not being active, so I was thinking about some kind of re-install of Win 10.
    As Acronis seemed to be playing up, I uninstalled it first. After uninstalling, I could not believe how fast the system re-booted. I re-booted again to make sure I wasn't mistaken, but no, the system re-booted as expected.
    So Acronis has been binned and I'm now using AOMEI backupper.

    So far so good.

    Win 10 (and 8) resposnible slow DL speeds as per Cox Cable

    Cox just told me my DL speed issues are totally due to Win 10 (and 8) compatibility issues as my husband's Win 7 PC hardwired can get over the recommended speed while I am
