Windows 10: How log in to Office Word on a computer with Windows Hello or how to remove Windows Hello

My mother has added a Microsoft work login for Teams, as was required of teachers. Since then, her computer has been demanding a PIN for any login, because it's apparently mandatory to have Windows Hello for "work" accounts?? PIN has never been set up. On attempt to set up the new PIN, Windows demands the use of some sort of an unspecified app copy QR code.


In the Settings window, it says the PIN option can't be used properly at the time because of the "organization's" settings. What does this mean? That the school has to set it up? Basically, we can't do anything about it from the computer itself, even though the Teams account isn't the main one.


No one can log back in to Word to authenticate the previous license for O365 and Word keeps reminding us it's not licensed. I can't log in with my private Microsoft account if I wanted to work in Word, my mother can't log in with her private Microsoft account to authenticate it, because it's demanding that Windows Hello PIN be used even after we log in with passwords.


Windows Hello can't be removed, PIN can't be removed or used, there is no solution to this anywhere that I could find and apparently, the only way is to delete the Teams login from the computer entirely to get rid of the "work" account??

PIN Box Missing - After Update - Windows Hello

To assist you better with your concern, we suggest that you disable Windows Hello. This should prevent you from getting issues in logging-in to your computer.

To do it, kindly follow the steps below:

• On your Cortana, type "Settings", and then press Enter.
  
• Select Accounts.
• Choose Sign-in options.
• Disable Windows Hello.
