I've changed some hardware within my PC mainly the Motherboard and was advised to resintall my OS for best performance. after linking my windows to my micrsoft account, I went ahead with the reset but lost my Windows. I've tried everything suggested and eventually had to open a ticket to hopefully reactivate my windows. This was nearly two weeks ago and i'm getting really tired of the loss of fuctions and that watermark on my screen.How long does is actually take before they get in contact, should I reopen another ticket?FYI: 'We can't activate Windows on this device because you don't have a

Windows 10 will not activate Error code 0x803F7001

Possibly there can be the problem with Microsoft activation Server, so your Windows 10 is not activated. In this scenario, you need to wait and verify if it is the issue from Microsoft’s side. But if you are getting error code 0x803f7001, you can also try these steps:

1. Open Settings app. Then go to Update and security > Activation screen > Change product.
2. Type your Windows edition product key and click Next.
3. You’ll get We couldn’t activate Windows error message.
4. Retry steps 1-3 then type your 25-characters unique product key.
5. Wait for the process to complete, Windows 10 is activated.

Did you get the notification to upgrade to Windows 10?

We recommend waiting for your upgrade. You will see a notification when it is ready. As long as the Get Windows 10 app says that it is coming, then you should be getting a notification when your upgrade is ready.

Step 5. Reboot PC.

Step 6. Open Command Prompt as admin & type this command "wuauclt.exe /updatenow"
