Windows 10: How long does it take the Microsoft Store on PC your birthdate change?

I was trying to get a game on the Microsoft store and it said that I was too young to view this content. I then logged onto my Microsoft account and noticed that my age was sent to a younger age than my real age. I then switched my age hoping that it would now allow me to then get the game, and Microsoft Store on PC hasn’t yet registered that I had changed my birthdate. How long does it usually take until it updates and allows me to get the game?

Changing a Microsoft account from an (incorrectly entered) adult birthdate to the correct child's birthdate

The links provided in the above response pertain to an account which is already setup as a child. That is not my situation.

My issue is going from an ADULT account to a CHILD account. Currently, the account is setup (incorrectly) as an adult account. I would like to update the birthdate to reflect that this is a child account.

This is an easy scenario to test:

• Setup a new Microsoft account with a birthdate that makes you an adult.
• Log off and then log back in
• Go to your profile and attempt to change the birth date to make you a child.
• The system will prevent you from making this change.

Any suggestions?

Why can I not change the birthdate of the microsoft account? We accidentally put it as 2017 and are locked out of doing certain things. When I go in to change the birthdate, it is not even an option to do so. I need to change this. Please help!
