    How long does it take to run chkdsk on a 3tb HDD?


    So, my 3tb HDD has been having problems with bad locks (like 52 thousands of them) and I decided to run a chkdsk on CMD.



    The command I'm running is this one: chkdsk D: /f /r /x /b



    The ETA for stage 5 to complete is 874:37:17



    Is that actually the correct time? 874 hours is a long time and I don't think I can guarantee my PC can keep running that long.

    can win10 be installed in HDD over 3TB?

    once i saw an article said if win7 installed in HDD over 2TB, it can't boot, is it correct?

    therefore, i wonder did win10 have the same issue

    I haven't done anything yet I was eating

    but yes I pluged it in and out several times while pc is running

    this is a Normall 3TB HDD 7200rm but the funny thing ever since I bought this pc it never showed 3TB
    so it is something from the store where they build it
