    How long does the Local security Authority Protection reboot take?


    Hi, So LSA was off when I booted up my pc following its update to windiws11. I agreed to turn it on and it asked for the pc to be rebooted. It’s now been at it for an hour. How long should I expect this to take?

    Local Security Authority protection Bug?

    Open an admin Command Prompt and run these two commands:

    • reg add "HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa" /v "RunAsPPL" /t REG_DWORD /d 2 /f
    • reg add "HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa" /v "RunAsPPLBoot" /t REG_DWORD /d 2 /f
    Restart Windows. That should clear the yellow exclamation warning.
