Windows 10: How long should a "downgrade" back to win 7 take?

It yet didnt finish after around 4 and a half hours. I just have a black screen with a cursor on it. I can open task manager with ctrl+alt+delete but when i do it the disk usage really drops for like 40 minutes. I did this twice lol. But right now the hdd light is non stop glowing. Still the black screen tho. It also says i dont have a genuine copy which is wierd cause i "upgraded" to 10 from a genuine copy. Im just posting this to see if this is normal. The drive was almost full with around 650gb used and 100 free which may be why its taking forever. Idk i hope its doing its thing.

Downgrade back to win 7.

I want to downgrade back to win 7, however that option is not available, its been over 30 days since i installed from the get win 10 icon. I have a external backup connected to my computer so all my files are backed up. I need help to go back to win 7. What
are the steps? Just don't like Win 10.

The option to go back has gone from the recovery option.

I would try these:

• Get your Windows 7 media device and reinstall Windows
• Try auto-repair
• Follow these steps:

• Put in your Windows 10 media device, boot into the USB
• Select your language and keyboard input, then click next.
• Click "Repair this computer"
• Go to "Advanced options"
• click system restore
• Select a restore point before you downgraded to Windows 7.

Bingo ! That's our problem ! Any other suggestions than downgrading the BIOS ?
