Windows 10: How long should I wait for my computer to reset

It’s been loading for over 24hrs and it was going fine until 98% on installation now it’s dead in the water

Did you get the notification to upgrade to Windows 10?

We recommend waiting for your upgrade. You will see a notification when it is ready. As long as the Get Windows 10 app says that it is coming, then you should be getting a notification when your upgrade is ready.

Step 1. Disable Third party Antivirus within the Anti-Virus Menu.

Step 5. Reboot PC.

Step 6. Open Command Prompt as admin & type this command "wuauclt.exe /updatenow"

Step 7. Go to Windows Update & ideally you should see the download begin, if you don't see the Windows Update download coming in educate customer to wait for 24-48 hrs.

Hard Reset or Wait for Tango

I'd perform a hard reset now for the following reasons:

• Not sure when Tango will be available for the device (how long do you want to wait for your live tiles to work again?)

• When an OS update occurs, everything on the phone is backed up to the computer before the update and after the update is completed the backup is restored to the phone, including the phone's registry. This could conceivably add the problem back to the phone.

After you hard reset your phone,
you can install the reinstaller app to the phone and that will make it easier for you to choose and reinstall your apps to the phone.

Thank you john for all of your help i decided to get the usb my computer came with and factory reset it i didnt have anything that personal or valueable so its ok thanks for the help though i appreciate it
