Windows 10: How many laptops does the average person own

I'm new to this website. I was just wondering how many laptops does the average person own? Care to comment? Up until a month ago I never owned a laptop. My wife has owned three now, one at a time. I just bought an LG Gram 13.3 inch, a DELL XPS 15 Touch and a MacBook Air. I may have overdone it? My wife's current one is the new Dell XPS 17 inch.

Number of Computers (1.1bn) / Number of People(11.2bn) = 0,098

So (if you believe the numbers/definitions and so on), for every 10 people globally, 1 owns a computer.

The average person owns 10% (if you want to put it like that) of a computer (or a 1/10 chance of owning one) which is a lot more than I expected actually.

I've got 5 (2 of which don't really work any more) which skews it very very slightly..

And here's what I alluded too with the "slug" analogy, except perhaps even more exaggerated (even more "negatively skewed") with respect to the "classic bell curve", i.e., "normal probabilty distribution" curve, that Cliff provided a link for:



Meaning a "decent" number of folks with many devices but a much larger number of folks with only one, and an even greater number of folks with none.
