    How much disk space should I leave for a Windows 10 partition?


    I use a Linux distro as my main system, but I want to leave a secondary Windows partiotion that I'll use to play a small bunch of old games, that put together shouldn't take more than 15 GB. How much disk space should allocate for that? Thanks.

    Disk cleanup clears much less space then claimed

    Hi Arsenaltastic, thanks for your question. I'm Graeme, a Microsoft Community expert and fellow user.

    It's odd that Disk Cleanup doesn't clean the same amount it reports, but there are definitely other effective ways to save disk space. Windows has built-in tools such as Storage Sense to help you manage your disk space effectively.

    Here's a link to a Microsoft Support article that lists quite a few ways to save disk space:
