Windows 10: How much Time should Shut Down Take? Well, in my case, it's taking over 2 mins!!

Let’s try the simple steps and check if this helps in resolving the issue. I would suggest you to change the server settings time and check. Follow the below steps.

• 
  Go to Settings and click on Time & language.
  
• 
  Select Region and language and click on
  Additional date, time, & regional settings on the left pane.
  
• 
  Now click on Date and Time and click on
  Internet time tab on the window, click on Change settings and try changing the server and click on
  Update now.

Windows 10 takes a long time to shut down

My Windows 10 takes age to shut down.. Already has consumed my 60 mins and still busy now (I'm writing this reply on another machine). And this is not the first time. What a horrible OS..

 

Server logon is too slow at Welcome screen, RDP takes around 2-3 min to login

5 min delay on cold start between login screen and bg screen

Ok, let the powershell command run overnight

If the command didn't solve the problem, the try these steps in order:

1. Disable superfetch service
   • Empty the following folder c:\Windows\Prefetch\
   • Restart the computer
   • Si ça ne marche pas, passer l'étape 2;
2. Disable the AppXSvc from the registry: change the "Start" key value from 3 to 4 (see the screenshot)

I have applied those settings, but no luck.
