I need help- Facebook account was hacked

I was hacked a month ago on Facebook I can’t get my account back? The hacked changed all the access email

I can’t recover them I need a step by step to go back I tried everything I didn’t get it yet it’s really frustration ?

Any one can help me ?

Hi Laura,

Sorry to hear your partner’s Facebook account was compromised.

This is a support forum for Microsoft products and services, so we won’t be able to directly assist you with this here on the forum. I understand the issue involves an Outlook account, but there isn't anything we can do from our side regarding this.

Most of us here are just regular community volunteers here to help on the forum, and not Microsoft employees or affiliated to Microsoft in any way. We can only advise, and for privacy reasons, no one here can access accounts. This is explained in the forum FAQ here

Although in regards to your concern about the changed email address associated with the account, I did find this on the Facebook support website:

If the email associated with your Facebook account has changed, you can reverse this. When an email is changed, we send a message to the previous email account with a special link. You can click this link to reverse the email change and secure your account.

Once you have access to your account, you can review your account activity and delete anything that doesn't look right. You should also then be able to log out of any signed in devices on the security page for your account.

In the future, I suggest enabling two-factor authentication (also known as 2FA, or Multi-factor/two-step verification) so if anyone does get access to your login credentials, additional verification will be required to sign in. I believe you can also sign up to attempted login alerts with all the sign-in details (time and date, browser or app, device, IP address, and location).

Also, always keep your security info up to date, never share passwords, and try to use a different password for everything. Change your password regularly, and don’t

If there’s messages being sent to friends on your account, reach out to them letting them know the situation - so they’re aware these messages aren’t actually from you. It’s never a good idea to send money if a ‘friend’ asks you, always confirm with the person first. Remember if something doesn’t look right, it usually is. Contact local law enforcement if things escalate and get out of hand.

Microsoft support - Once you get to the virtual support agent just say “talk to an agent”, select you product and issue from the list, then select live chat or request a call back. The contact options will show the estimated wait time/queue.
