Recovering Local Disk

It could be a compatibility issue with the latest update and your local disk. We suggest updating your disk driver. Follow these steps:

• On the Start, type Device Manager.
• Locate and select Disk drives.
• Right-click on your disk drive, select Properties.
• Go to the Driver tab and choose Update Driver.
• Once done, click OK.

Changing the drive that my Local Disk (C is on. Or uninstalling windows to reinstall to the correct drive.

As I can see from the above screenshot you have 1.8 GB of space Unallocated. I suggest you to extend the shrink volume back to C: drive by following the below steps.

• Go to disk management, press Windows key + R and type
  diskmgmt.msc and hit enter.
• From this page right click on C: drive
  and click on Extend Volume.
• Follow the onscreen instructions by selecting unallocated space.

Now you will get total amount of space in C: drive.

removable disk shortcut on the desktop

a removable disk shortcut on the desktop everytime a disk is inserted. Just like in the 'THIS PC' , there is a new folder for the removable disk like the USB pen drive, a shortcut in the desktop folder would be great.
