    How Remove Startup Notice of Missing .exe?


    At each startup, I get this message that Windows11 cannot find SpeedTestLoggger.exe. This is a program I uninstalled. How do I eliminate the remnants of this program or stop Windows from reporting it? Thank you

    Hello, this is Emily.

    When you uninstalled it, did you uninstall via Settings > Apps > Installed Apps?

    Can you exam a few places and let me know if you can see them there:

    1. Ctrl + Alt + Del > Task Manager > Startup tab. Any chance it is still listed there as enabled? If so, right click and disable it.

    2. Windows + R keys, then type in:

    shell:startup

    Press enter. and in the folder launched, anything related to that program listed?

    How Remove Startup Notice of Missing .exe?

    Did this thing pop up along with Command Prompt at startup? In your Startup folder, do you have any script or .bat file listed?

    Can you please run a clean boot, using this instruction ;https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/how-t...

    And tell me if this pops up again in clean boot.

    Why did the startup window get cleared?

    I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.
