    How ro reinstall OS to SSD in Laptop?


    I just acquired a second hand Asus Tuf gaming laptop. It has a 256 SSD storage, and a 1TB HDD. The problem is that the OS was installed in the HDD instead of the SSD.

    How do I transfer my OS to SSD? I don't have the license key with me.

    My laptop is on its last legs and needs replacing. But it has a good SSD with Windows 10 and lots of data on it which I want to keep. Can I buy a new laptop with no HDD or OS and transfer my existing SSD complete with OS straight into it? Am I allowed to
    transfer my existing Windows 10 licence ro a new computer bought without an OS?

    SSD - copy or reinstall OS?

    I have established ssd and there is no wish to reinstall OS. I want to transfer already established OS by means of acronis true image.

    Whether it is necessary for for correct work of Windows 10 OS to do pure installation on SSD?

    Or to adjust rather copied OS having disconnected excess load of SSD?

    64Gb SSD for OS or 2Tb HDD for storage ?!

    I suggest that you get the 2tb for storage. SSDs are only useful if you want to boot things fast like OS and programs. I actually suggest you get both if you have that many movies.
