Windows 10: How Should The Windows Defender Be?

Dear Sir/Madam, How's things?,How should the Windows Defender react to a dangerous downloaded file or program?,because in my case the dangerous downloaded file/s wasn't fully detected or simply just fully allowed to go in and once installed after not seeing any warning popups simply continued on and in doing so ended up with a fully wrecked antivirus and computer and i didn't need to install a trojan to get this result ,as i can occur just from an installed malware, just to start with.I am using the home edition of Windows 10 and did try the pro version of Windwos 10

To troubleshoot this issue, we suggest that you check the Windows Defender service if it's running. If you are using a third party spyware/malware program, it may disable the Windows Defender service. To do this, please follow the steps below:

• Press Windows + R key.
• Type services.msc.
• Right-click Windows Defender service and click
  Start.

Installing Apps on Windows 10 Has Windows Defender Finding Malware

I would suggest you to open Windows defender and add exclusions and check if it helps. Follow the steps to add exclusions in windows Defender.

  Type Windows defender settings in the search bar and press enter
  
• 
  Under Exclusions click on Add Exclusion
