    How solve huge CPU/disk use Windows 10?


    Hi guys, just got Asus Vivobook F540B and am having big problems with CPU/disk use on Windows 10. Old Asus on 8.1 (how I miss it) was 2/3%, new one is 99/100%. Looked online and it appears to be a serious design problem with Win 10. Task manager suggests wsappx is the biggest problem (c50% at times) but there's a lot of other system parts hogging CPU. How do I fix this? Happy to cripple Windows Store.

    Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

    Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

    New install Windows 10 (issue solved)

    you can edit the title to say "issue solved", or "fixed " with the 'thread tools' option,under 'edit title' at the top right of the OP, so other who dont read all the posts dont keep posting suggestions *Wink How solve huge CPU/disk use Windows 10? ;)

    Unlocked Realtek HD Audio Drivers Windows 7 & 8 (With Dolby Digital Live and DTS Interactive)

    DTS supported natively by Windows 8/8.1 and it should work on windows 10 too just DDL require to unlock your driver .
