Windows 10: How stop audio file previews when mouse hovers over them?

Hi,This is driving bothering me for quite some time and I believe it's something new with Windows 11 that I never had to deal with on Windows 10. If my mouse hovers over an audio file it tries to automatically play the file before I even click it. Does anyone know how to turn this off?On a possibly related note, if I ever open a folder with a lot of audio files Windows explorer seems to go down the list from top to bottom and "load" them up. I can actually see the list of files slowly disappear from view one by one as it loads them up, presumably to allow them to be previewed when my mouse is

2. Do you use Touchpad mouse or Regular mouse on your PC?

However, I suggest you to follow the below steps, and check if that helps.

1. Click on Windows key +
   R button and type Control panel
   
2. Click on Ease of Access
   
3. Then click on Activate Windows by hovering over it with the mouse
   
4. Then click Apply and
   OK.

In Windows 10, is there a way to get rid of the blue semi-highlighting on files the mouse pointer is hovering over?

I suggest you to disable window by hovering over it with the mouse and check if it helps. To do so I suggest you to try the below given steps and check if it helps:

• Press Windows key + X key and click on
  Control Panel.
• Select or click Ease of Access.
• Click or tap on Ease of Access Centre.
• Click on Make the Mouse Easier to Use was uncheck
  Activate Window by hovering over it with the mouse.
• Check if issue is resolved.

Windows explorer. I am only trying to change the name of these files. Windows causes the music preview to start as long as the mouse hovers the same with video files. I needthis tostop as I am elderly and must hover mouse to click in the correct spot
