Windows 10: How the hell do you use spell check in the new outlook?

Does anyone know how to connect spell check to the new outlook?All of posts here are not accurate as the editor feature never populates as suggested.

The spell checker in Windows New Outlook no longer works.

I believe you are using the built in Windows Mail app of on your computer. If I'm correct, am afraid to say that this feature is automatically enabled.

In the new Outlook, the spell check feature is automatically enabled, and there is no specific setting to turn it on or off. However, if you’re experiencing issues or have feedback regarding the spell checker, here are some steps you can take:

1. Compose a Message: When you compose an email in the new Outlook, the spell check should work automatically. As you type, any misspelled words will be highlighted, and you can right-click on them to see suggested corrections.
   
2. Feedback and Feature Requests: If you find that the spell check isn’t working as expected or if you have other suggestions, consider providing feedback through the Feedback Portal. You can create a new post there to share your thoughts and help improve the new Outlook experience. Visit the Outlook Community Feedback Portal to contribute.

Windows 10 spell check menu position

Dictionary file corruption is one of the possible reasons you're having challenges with spell checker. To further troubleshoot the issue, we suggest that you clear Spell Checking Dictionary on your computer. Follow the steps below:

• Open File Explorer, type %AppData%\Microsoft\Spelling into the address bar, and press
  Enter.
• Open the folder for a language you want to customize (ex: en-US).
• You can now clear the dic file.
• When done, hit File in Notepad, click Save.

After performing the steps above, let us know the results.

 

No spelling check options while sending the emails

I understand the inconvenience you are facing in Windows. We will help you.

To assist you better, I suggest you to answer the below questions.

• Are you using Mail App or Web app for accessing the mails?
• Previously were you able to set it up for the Spelling check?

If you are using the Mail App, there is no option to set the spelling check. But when you are sending a New Mail you have an option to check the spelling.

• Click on +New Mail. Type the content.
• Above you may click for the Spelling check and check if you are able to use the option.
