Windows 10: How to access old Hotmail account when details have been forgotten and phone number is now...

A couple of years ago I created a Hotmail account. Forgot the password and couldn’t figure out how to get back in at the time so I created a new account with a very similar name, and I’ve been using that for about two years. I was old like to be able to use the original Hotmail account though, and I’ve been told recently that family have been emailing me at the initial email address and not getting a bounce back message. But I can’t get in or reset password to get in because 1 I don’t remember what details I linked to it. Likely my previous work email address or previous Gmail address whic

It seems that the phone has stopped syncing the contacts from the two Hotmail accounts I have associated with the phone.



It is still displaying the Facebook based contacts.



So I see some contacts, but only the details from Facebook & not as many contacts as before as some contacts were not part of Facebook.



I have followed the steps to trigger a sync of each account & have tried un-checking the contacts from the secondary Hotmail account then syncing & re-checking the



I have checked both Hotmail accounts online, they still contain the details I can no longer see on my phone.



If I add a phone number to a contact via the phone, it is showing on the contacts list in the phone, but I'd rather not have to manually enter the data from the two Hotmail accounts...
