Windows 10: How to activate a third monitor detected by system, will not display or allow for...

Hello, I have two odyssey G60SD monitors and a Zowie XL LCD Monitor and running windows 11 pro. all drivers appear to be up to date. I have a i7 12700k and a RTX 3070. from everything I've read my system should be able to support more than two monitors. windows it detects all three monitors but will only display two at a time. through NVidia control panel i can choose any two out of the three and have them display. If try to reduce the resolution or refresh rate of the monitors that are working at that given moment it does not allow me to turn on the third monitor. What exactly am i missing he

Laptop display does not detect itself

In regards to your concern, since the second screen can't detect the display settings of your other laptop, we suggest that you perform the steps below and see if it helps:

• Go to Settings.
• Click on System.
• Under System, choose Display.
• Under Multiple displays, click on Duplicate these displays and apply.

Help! Both external monitors not detecting

Please follow below steps to resolve the message by switching the input source to HDMI: 1. Press "Menu" hotkey on the monitor to enter OSD. 2. Switch the input source to HDMI on OSD in one of the following ways:

• Go to Display > Input > HDMI.
• Go to System > HDMI Auto Switch > On.

 

Laptop display does not detect itself

Hi,

I only have 1 computer (the laptop) and 1 external monitor. The laptop cannot detect its own screen.

So when I follow your steps, this is what happens:

• Go to Settings. (Done)
• Click on System. (Done)
• Under System, choose Display. (Done)
• Under Multiple displays, click on Duplicate these displays and apply. (Done)
• But then I undock my laptop and redock. Re-login, etc.
• Only the external display turns on. The laptop does not turn on its own display. In order to get the laptop display to wake up, I need to follow steps 1-4 again. The settign "Duplicate these displays" does not seem to be retained.
