    Hi, I have a problem with my audio settings. I have just one plug-in for both the mic and headphones on my laptop. And when I want to use an external mic, one that I use with a mixer for recordings, it automatically recognizes it as headphones so I can't use it or change it.On another laptop, I always get a popup question to recognize the device so I go with "line input" but on this laptop, I don't get that question. Please if you could help me fix this. I have windows 11, and I found other answers to a similar question but I just couldn't make it work.Thanks!

    The Ultimate Realtek HD Audio Driver Mod for Windows 10

    Delete ‪C:\Windows\System32\DTSAPOUI64.dll, install again
    If error still popup, just click ignore and run cmd as admin -> type regsvr32 DTSAPOUI64.dll

    Use the original Realtek driver (not modded) and read tutorial on customize multiple audio effects with FX Configurator

    One of the example is DTS Audio + Sound BlasterX 720
    Or just load W10_Custom_CT_Dolby_UWP_DTS_Render.ini for DTS Audio + Sound BlasterX 720 + Realtek Audio Effects + Dolby UWP

    Unlocked Realtek HD Audio Drivers Windows 7 & 8 (With Dolby Digital Live and DTS Interactive)

    Wait, but have you done the whole step-by-step guide described in the OP? DDL/DTS isn't supported natively by Windows 8/8.1 either, unless if you do the steps listed there.
