Delete mails in Outlook but want to keep mails untouch in webmail

When I deleted an email in outlook and my webmail got deleted too. I want to keep all the inbox mails from the webmail even I complete deleted in outlook. I spend hrs can't think it out how. Any step by step instruction? I'm using IMAP account btw. Thanks and Merry Christmas.

 

How to add a Microsoft email account to Outlook 2016

I saw an old post describing the steps to add an msn.com email account to Microsoft Outlook. It had to be done manually selecting the first option and using blu404.m.hotmail as the server. If I try to do the same, however, I get an error message saying that the server can't be reached.

How can I add a Microsoft email account (hotmail/outlook) to desktop Outlook? I can use this email account in Outlook Live, (it shows Outlook Mail in the upper left corner of my emails), but I can't add it to Outlook 2016 from Office Professional. I was able to add an @att.net email account, but I don't know what to do for a Microsoft account.

If I try to add it without any manual steps I get an error message saying (more or less): "an encrypted email did not work, try and unencrypted email", but that does not work either. Clearly, some manual configuration is needed: please guide me along the required steps. In case it matters, my password is 8 characters long.

 

Outlook vs godaddy email

So I was using thunderbird fine with no problems. I got office pro and uninstalled open office and thunderbird (i know im a sell out) but it was free so who cares? Moving on one of my email accounts is for a site I review and its hosted at godaddy. Well let the games begin. I tried for hours getting it to work. I was PISSED. It wouldnt send mail smtp failure everyware. I googled and googled and go daddy support was a joke. But I managed to figure it out. These are universal settings and they will work as long as you use godaddy.

Outlook 2010

First after you enter your basic information you are brought to the configure page.

the servers you will want to use are

POP (incomming) pop.secureserver.net

SMTP (outgoing) smtpout.secureserver.net

for imap users just use imap.secureserver.net

these settings work fine and dandy until you get the smtp error during testing.

click the "more settings" button at the bottom right.

click "out going server" tab.

now check the box it reads "my account requires authentication" (give or take a word or 2)

enter your username and password. and click save password or w/e.

you should be good to go. if it still gives you an error their are a few ports availible.

alternativly you can attempt smtp via diffirent servers

relay-wm.secureserver.net
smtp.secureserver.net
mail.secureserver.net
