    How to add a sound when closing a program


    I wanted to add a sound for whenever I close a program e.g. browser for windows 10 so I downloaded a wav. file for this but when I apply it in system sounds it doesn't play when I click test, nor when closing a program. How can I successfully make the sound work for this action? Is it the file type or something else?

    I know you say you're not that guy, but stepping into the $250+ range really brings a change in build quality that might have you never having to buy another set. Otherwise, getting 6 speakers with decent sound in a headset is hard, and that's what you are asking for, and I have no suggestions, but just a bump up the list. *Stick Out Tongue How to add a sound when closing a program :p

    Programs Closing


    Hi,

    Never heard of something like this, but the Graphics Card situation sounds familiar. I doubt your GPU is causing your programs to close though. Here's what I would do if I were in your shoes:

    1. Uninstall and reinstall your GPU. Grab the latest drivers and make sure they are properly installed.
    2. Run an antivirus check. I personally recommend Malwarebytes Free.

    Can you tell us what you're doing? Step by step? What program are you using? Like I say, if you're using VLC, any codecs you install won't help you at all since VLC doesn't actually look outside of its own libraries.

    Just list the steps that you're taking.
