Windows 10: How to add description for files in explorer without going to properties

How to add description for files in explorer without going to properties. Please help because I have lot of files. Unable to go to each file properties and I need to edit directly on the highlighted area for comments & description. Please help if there is any add in also it will by helpful

It's not just the file names that are missing. All the text is missing - everything has gone: the title bar, the names of the ribbon tabs and the icons on the Home ribbon at the top - all of them are missing. This suggests that a system font is missing. On possible cause for this is having used something like Winaero Tweaker to change the system font.

Windows Explorer/file Properties Details not displaying tags

I'm trying to tag documents so they can be found easily but I don't have the option to add a tag to a file. The Details panel in my Windows Explorer does not display tags in the list of properties. Also, when I right-click a file, go to Properties and then click the Details tab, tags are not listed there either.

Is there a way to turn this feature on? Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi Greg,

I followed your Task Manager steps and restarted the computer but the issue was still there.

Then I went to the first link you suggested and saw the options available. I elected to go to Microsoft Support to see if they had any File Explorer options available and they did. I downloaded the Mighty File Explorer. Using it, I checked the Properties
of the external drive in question and it was able to see and list the size of the folder correctly! Thank you for your time. This solves the issue.

If you see a need for me to explore the other recommendations that you gave, let me know.
