Windows 10: How to allocate an ex-RAW SSD?

Hello Microsoft Support, I am having some problems with my SSD, here is the backstory:It used to be a RAW drive, a day before. Suddenly it displayed file format as NTFS, but still had some problems, so I used diskpart/list drives/select drive X/clean, and ever since it became unallocated, and began to have the same problems it did as a RAW drive but even worseWhen I tried to create a simple volume to convert it to its normal file format this popped up:When I tried converting it to MBR disk this popped upThis has the same error as a RAW drive but the solution of a RAW drive don't work as the vo

Harddisk show as raw + not allocated

My Seagate Expansion External Harddisk had a problem and I could only access it with very low speed. I decided to remove it from the case and connect it directly to the computer. Now I can't access it at all it shows as partly as raw partly as not allocated.





Is there any solution to this?

 

SSD disk appear as RAW

That is good enough indication that your SSD is OK.

Now I would like you to run TestDisk again step by step.

Screen No 5 [Boot] is highlighted. You pressed Enter.

Post screen 6 showing that both Bootsectors are bad.
Should be something like this

















Note: For the above screenshots I deliberately corrupted the Volume Boot Sector at 2048 and the backup boot sector at the partition end sector 976769023 and did the Rebuild BS which then returned the screen saying both Boot Sector and Backup Boot sector are OK.

 

Save RAW drive - Don't want data


Open Admin command prompt, then type:

1. diskpart
2. list disk ======> Take note of disk # of the RAW drive
3. select disk # ======> is the number in step 2
4. clean
5. exit

Open Disk Management and initialize it, Create Simple, format.
