  1. How to allow all internet traffic through a specified NIC?

Hello,I am looking for a way to direct all internet traffic through a specific NIC, here is the scenario: > I am running a VPN client on a Windows computer. When the user logs in, the VPN client automatically connects rather, the tunnel is established without the user authenticating, and the user is unable to disconnect the VPN, e.g. Cloudflare WARP, with switch mode off. The VPN split-tunneling is set to off, so all traffic goes through the VPN adapter/tunnel. < The VPN is used for secure browsing and remote access. This works fine because when a user logs into the computer and start

  2. Windows Defender only allows inbound app traffic even with outbound app traffic specified.

Hi Everyone thanks for looking in,

I would welcome any help in finding a resolution to this :

I have the latest Microsoft Windows Professional again now installed oddly the Windows Defender even when its set to all out bound traffic does not seem to allow app outbound traffic to the websites. I have created rules in Outbound Rules but when I look at Advanced >Monitoring >>Firewall it only lists inbound traffic suggesting no app can get out . How do I change this. I am not even sure if this is the app blocking them but it is a new install with no other anti virus products or firewall.

    Thanks again M

  3. Internet is not working when one of NICs share the internet with other

I have 2 NICs on the computer and only one(NIC-1) of them is connected to the internet. If NIC-1 share the internet with NIC-2, browsers(edge, chrome) doesn't work anymore. But I can still ping to the 'google.com' with cmd window still. OS is windows 10 (uptodate). But if i stop sharing, browsers work again normally. Must i specify the specific NIC for applications on windows? If so how can i do that? Thank you in advance.

How to allow all internet traffic through a specified NIC?

Windows uses wrong NIC in a dual NIC setup, Ignores metric at times.

I have an OVPNbox router which supports different groups to be connected via OpenVPN to their VPN service. So NIC 1 is in one group and NIC 2 is in another group, these two groups are separately connected via VPN which means they have different IP-adresses and tunnels. This is why I have two NICs and connections to the router, in order to get all normal traffic on my computer over VPN link 1 and all Tixati traffic over VPN link 2 and never have them use the other's connection.

How do I specify which one to use when I want to use them both at the same time but for different applications? If Windows 10 is trying to load balance or bridge the connection, how can I stop this and just tell Windows to use NIC 1 for all traffic but still keep NIC 2 available for Tixati? (The application Tixati has a built in option to use another NIC and I've specified NIC 2 in the application so it will always use NIC 2)
