    How to allow non-Microsoft Store apps use cellular data?


    I have recently got a new laptop with cellular connectivity.This works great, except it is preventing me from using cellular data with certain pieces of software.I can set yes/no permissions for cellular data permission for apps installed from the Microsoft store but can't find a way to allow permissions for apps which I have installed from standalone installers. Do I just need to accept that these can't be used on cellular data defeating the purpose for me of getting the device or is there a way I can set the permission, perhaps through registry?

    allow large apps to download via cellular data connection

    Nokia please allow us to download large apps via cellular data connection as everyone cannot afford WiFi or internet connection on pc

    As windows phone 8is also not coming for current devices.... Please do us a favor and allow us to download large apps via cellular data..

    I see what you mean about the password but i think its a backward step to compromise my Microsoft password to to use the app store
