    1. So an update will be available for your computer besides security. DO NOT UPDATE YOUR COMPUTER.2. Wait a couple weeks and let OTHER PEOPLE UPDATE THEIR COMPUTER.3. These updates are usually not that urgent. Mostly they are pushing stuff on you that you don't want. You are doing your work just fine. Maybe the update is just new ways to try to push Edge browser and One drive on you. 4. Post a question is the update is safe in the Microsoft Community. 5. Wait until after a month, and then Google and see what the experience of others is. If it is good, then go for the update. If it isn't, then

Does this computer build have compatibility problems? Opinions welcomed!

Lets start with what you're going to use this computer for, not what you want to put in it.

Rules/steps to building a computer (in chronological order):
First rule: Determine what your needs are.
    Second rule: Define your budget.
    Third rule: Pick parts.
Fourth rule: Review parts several times.
    Fifth rule: Buy said parts.
    Sixth rule: Build it.

You are on rule/step 1. Go through the list until you're done.
