    How to avoid win 10 Update on limited WiFi bandwidth


    Please, can someone tell me how to avoid win 10 Update on limited WiFi bandwidth.

    My monthly Internet quota is limited to 5 GB of data. Most of it goes on win update. Is there a way to stop it? I have the basic version of win 10.

    Win 10 updates and Network bandwidth.

    Hi,

    On weekdays I have very limited bandwidth but at weekends I have unlimited bandwidth.

    Can I set Windows 10 to only download updates when it detects a high bandwidth link ? If so, how do I set my limited bandwidth connection so it knows it's limited. ?

    I would like to inform you that there is not option in Windows 10 to hog the Wi-Fi bandwidth.

    I suggest you to contact the manufacture of the Wi-Fi router for any settings related to limit the usage of wifi bandwidth.
