  1. How to back up Windows 11 SETTINGS locally?

Hi there, I'm an occasional Windows 11 user. My main OSes are Mac OS X and Windows 10, both installed on my own computers, but both are currently "in repair". Here we can borrow a computer for up to a month from out IT desk. They have decent specifications and allow the end-user to configure most settings, adding and removing apps, etc.. They just re-image the system everytime a computer is returned, so no harm done. This feature, however, is not available to the end-user. Booting off a USB drive or re-imaging system ourselves is off-limits.However, their default Windows 11 settings are pretty

    :)

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

To be sure that you followed my suggestion correctly, I will specify some steps: CP>devices and printers>add a printer>the printer that I want isn't listed>add a local printer with manual settings>define port>Windows update and install

  4. How to back up Windows 11 SETTINGS locally?

    Local account installation question

I'm fairly certain that Skip this step was available in 10.0.130 - the workaround in Step 20 (back button) is no longer required.

The currently known, as of 10.0.130, ways to create a Local account sign-in are
    • Skip this step at the MS account creation phase
    • No Internet connection during the install
    • static IP (post# 2 by Fragment) - New (to me anyway)
