Windows 10: How to better configure windows for 1920x1080 and 1080x1920 monitors next to each other.

I have a 1920x1080 monitor as my primary with two 1080x1920 monitors in portrait mode. Although in reality these monitors are the same height, the pixel resolution is not allowing windows to correct for this (image below). The landscape monitor is 21" tall with both portrait monitors matching at 21" tall.

Is there a way to resolve the sizing issues in windows for the following reasons?

-Mouse movement matches when moving from monitor to monitor.

-Text size matching on each monitor.

-Windows 10 with latest updates

-Intel i7 7700k

Monitor Resolution shows 1280x1024 where Monitor is capable of 1920x1080 resolution

Try the following methods and check if it helps:

Method 1:

I suggest you check and select the 1920x1080 Display Resolution.

Follow the below steps:

• Right click on the open area on the Desktop.
• Select the Graphics properties.
• Click on Display.
• Under Resolution check and select the 1920x1080 Display Resolution if its present.

If the issue persists then follow the below method.

Method 2:

I suggest you to update the Display adapters driver from the Device Manager and check if it works.

Follow the below steps:

1. Right click on Start button and click on Device Manager.

2. Select the Graphic driver from the list by extending Display adapters.

3.Right click on the Graphic driver and click on Update driver Software.

If the issue persists then follow the below method.

Method 3:

I would recommend you to download and install the latest driver in compatibility mode for the manufacturer’s website and check if it works.

Unable to select 1920x1080 resolution.

Thanks for the quick reply, I have done this step before and did it again as per your instructions. It appears that windows still doesn't recognize my monitor as capable of 1920x1080...

 

Have LG monitor but cannot get resolution of 1920x1080.

in desperation as I was running EJS 8 steps I tried at Step 4 instead of "Uninstall Device" I selected "Disable Device" and Eureka! the recommended driver 8.970.100.9001 appeared.

Problem solved! I have 1920 x 1080.
